Cuban/Haitian Entrants

A Cuban/Haitian entrant is an individual who has been admitted into the United States, has a pending application for asylum, or has otherwise arrived at a US port of entry.  Cuban/Haitian entrants are eligible for the same services as refugees and can apply to adjust their status to Legal Permanent Resident after one year and US citizenship after five years in the US.
