Volunteer
- Volunteers must be fluent in Spanish as 98% of our calls are from Spanish-only clients.
- Managing main phone line for initial intake and computer database entry. Daytime
- Learning the referral sources within our agency and outside organizations. Daytime
- Assisting walk-in clients filling out applications for benefits such as Food Stamps, ER Medicaid, Families First, and TennCare. Daytime
- Helping with our Family Learning & Nurturing ELL Groups on Mondays 9 to 11:30 a.m. and/or 12-3:00 p.m. Also, on Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 am.
- On Tuesday from 9 to 12:00 noon babysitting children while mothers attend the WSG.
- Getting materials ready for Preschool classes each week. Daytime
- Tutoring Adult ESL classes or playing games with the children of those adults learn English. Evening
