 Catholic Charities of Tennessee's Hispanic Family Services program was cited in a story in today's issue of The Tennessean as a United Way of Metropolitan Nashville Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program partner.  Tax assistance through Hispanic Family Services is available at the program's office at 3112 Nolensville Road (at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church).  Call 615-445-8310 for more information.

The inaugrual "Noche Musical" benefiting Catholic Charities Hispanic Services was held on April 30th honoring Father Joe Pat Breen, for his service and advocacy for the Latino Community.  Featured in the picture is Father Breen with a presentation of the Juan Diego Award.

Consul General Salvador DeLara, Consulate General of United Mexico in Atlanta, traveled to Nashville recently to celebrate 200 years of Mexican independence and to participate in the graduation ceremony of 17 people at Plaza Comunitaria, an education program offered by the Mexican government through an agreement with Catholic Charities of Tennessee.
