Young Professionals Plan Fall Wine Social Kickoff

Posted 09/16/2014

Area professionals are invited to a Fall Wine Social on October 18 from 7-9 p.m. hosted by Catholic Charities of Tennessee. The event will take place at the White House on the campus of event sponsor Aquinas College (4210 Harding Pike, 37205).

"We are asking attendees to put on their best party dress (or suit) and join us for wine sipping, food tasting, friend making, and live music by the Sam Levine Swing Trio...all rolled into one fun evening," explained Katherine Duck, a member of the event planning committee and a Young Leaders Council intern on the Catholic Charities Board of Trustees.

The "price of admission" is one bottle of wine to share with those attending the event. Sushi provided by Kohana Japanese Restaurant in Green Hills will highlight a menu of tempting treats. Delicious desserts will be compliments of Nothing Bundt Cake.

The Sam Levine Swing trio will be providing instrumental '40s and '50s swing music to enhance the evening.

"Our group's primary purpose is to engage young professionals (ages 25 to 40) who support Catholic Charities' poverty-fighting work in Middle Tennessee through networking and service events of interest to friends and friends-to-be of all faiths," Duck added.
