Several adults got out of the office on Thursday to help build a new playground in Nashville.
Two-hundred volunteers from area businesses and corporations partnered with KaBOOM! to build a playground at Saint Mary Villa Child Development Center.
The center is located behind Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church on Heiman Street.
Sixty to seventy children are enrolled. They haven't had a proper playground until now.
The Nashville Predators is one of the organizations that participated.
"It's fun to win games. It's fun to book concerts and put Nashville on an international stage. But this is what really matters: to bring everyone together to make a difference," said Sean Henry, CEO of the Predators and the Bridgestone Arena.
Along with the new playground equipment, there is also a picnic and garden area.
