Catholic Charities of Tennessee Announces 2014-15 Board Officers, New Members

The Board of Trustees for Catholic Charities of Tennessee, Inc. has elected officers and new members for the 2014-2015 fiscal year, according to Bill Sinclair, executive director of the agency. The terms began on July 1.

Executive Committee members for 2014-2015 are: President Fran Bedard, director at Deloitte Tax, LLP, Primm Springs; Vice President Eleanor Parkes, community volunteer, Nashville; Secretary Portia Wells, Senior Vice President and Trust Advisor at U.S. Trust/Bank of America, Nashville; Treasurer Dwayne Dillard, partner at Crowe Horwath, LLP, Franklin; and Program Oversight Committee Chair Nancy Anness, vice president Advocacy, Access, and Community Outreach for Saint Thomas Health, Nashville.

Joining the Board are: Allen Arender, vice president of Development for Holladay Properties, Nashville; Stefan Caulfield, senior manager Market Finance at Healthways, Inc., Franklin; Sister Mary Cecilia Goodrum, O.P., vice president for Student Life at Aquinas College, Nashville; John Rodgers, attorney at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP, Nashville; and Liz Schatzlein, community volunteer, Nashville.

"Board members provide us with a tremendous diversity of experience and interests, while helping us connect with community resources and the people we serve," said Sinclair.

"The board is an integral part in our program planning, promotional efforts and development initiatives. We are pleased and honored to have so many talented and knowledgeable people volunteering their services as board members."

Continuing their service on the 2014-2015 Catholic Charities Board are: Tina Allocco, APRN, Vanderbilt Sinus & Asthma Clinic; Steve Bachus, Vanderbilt University; Anne Blaufuss, Ardent Health Services; Steve Brophy, Dollar General, Michael A. Corbett, Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance; Kevin Doherty, Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough; Father Eric Fowlkes, Our Lady of the Lake Church, Hendersonville; Christopher Kelly, Raymond James; Greg Mays, Parallon Business Solutions (HCA); Kimberly Molnar, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee; Diane Mulloy, community volunteer; immediate past Board president Paul Ney, Waddey & Patterson; Frederick Strobel, The Burgundy Group; and James C. Summers, community volunteer.

Also serving on the board as a Young Leaders Council intern is Katherine Duck, Gallagher Benefit Services, Brentwood.
