Catholic Charities of Tennessee, the local administrator of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development is seeking candidates to serve as a Faith and Justice Intern from September 2018 through May 2019. The internship, designed to help promote the important work of the CCHD, especially within the Diocese of Nashville, will offer experience working with and on behalf of those living in poverty.
The internship will provide practical work in carrying out the mandate of CCHD, opportunities to develop relationships with community leaders, reflection on Catholic social teaching, and opportunities for sharing the experience with other CCHD interns.
Those with good writing abilities, bilingual skills (optional), and an interest in Catholic social justice are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates should be practicing Catholics living within the Diocese of Nashville.
The position is a part-time (11-12 hours/week) paid ($12/hour) position which will run from September 2018 through May 2019.
